Dr. Vibert "Issa" White
Dr. Vibert "Issa" White earned degrees at Bethune-Cookman University (Fl), Purdue University (IN), and The Ohio State University (OH). He has taught at Bloomsburg University (PA), University of Cincinnati (OH), and having earned tenure at the University of Illinois at Springfield (Ill) and the University of Central Florida (FL). Within academia he has published several books, including the academic bestseller--"Inside the Nation of Islam: The Personal and Historical Testimony of a Black Muslim," along with scores of academic and public articles. His scholarship are in the fields of Public History, Latin American and Caribbean, Constitutional and Legal, and the African Diaspora. His works has been featured on the BBC, Al-Jazeera, History Channel and the Discovery Network.
Dr. White has served on three White Commissions (Rep & Dem), and Governor's Commission (Oh, Ill, FL). In addition, he has spoken at United Nation forums and several international meetings sponsored nations such as Brazil, Jamaica, Ghana, Senegal, Libya, Costa Rica, Saudi Arabia and England. His political commentary have been documented on Good Morning America, Voice of America, FOX News, CNN, Nightline, 60 Minutes and WION.
Dr. White has also run as a non-traditional candidate for the U.S. Congress that campaigned against American hegemony, the suppression of the underclass, increased military spending and the exploitation environmental natural resources.
Lastly, the professor is bilingual (fluency in Portuguese) and has published in Portuguese and Spanish.
